Building a power plant under Greenwich Village
When New York University set out to build a co-gen power plant in the heart of New York City, it was a big engineering challenge. But it was worth the work: the new plant is almost 90% efficient, and will save the school up to $8 million a year on utility bills.
Apple - Introducing GLaDOSiri on iPhone 4S
Apple announced Siri on iPhone 4S, which lets you use your voice to send messages, set reminders, place phone calls, and more.
However, they decided to replace it with GLaDOSiri, which is way better.
Inspired by my love of Portal, and GLaDOS' inevitable take over of every iPhone in America.
