My PARC tour, Part I: Future of Networking
You might have heard of PARC (Palo Alto Research Center). That's where all sorts of modern tech was invented. Ethernet. Object-oriented programming. Laser printers and much more. Earlier this week they invited me over for an exclusive look at several things they are working on. Here is the fhthttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.giftp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifirst part, where we discuss the future of networking, which they call content-aware computing.
Here, Teresa Lunt,http://www.parc.com/about/people/122/teresa-lunt.html http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifce President and Director of the Computing Science Laboratory research organization, and Nacho Solis, http://www.parc.com/about/people/178/nacho-solis.html researcher, tell me how networks are changing.
