“Mobile Movie Making - A New Frontier for Creating and Distributing Media” with Michael Koerbel and Anna Elizabeth James, Writer/Director/Producer at Majek Pictures, on Thursday, January 27 at 1:00 p.m. PT
This session will explore a new method of visual storytelling.
After the success of Apple of My Eye––shot and edited entirely on iPhone 4––Michael Koerbel and Anna Elizabeth James set out to make Goldilocks, a mobile film series in the same vein as Bourne Ultimatum. The series was originally intended to go through the Hollywood studio system, but the duo soon realized the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch would give them the opportunity to shoot and distribute it themselves, which they did. In addition to providing attendees with tips and tricks for shooting and editing with the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch, as well as insight into the top film accessories, gadgets and mobile movie making apps, Michael and Anna will discuss their distribution model of releasing Goldilocks through an app.
